That’s what it feels like I’m doing since my blood sugar issue began–saying goodbye. But it’s turning into a much longer goodbye that it ought to be. I really believed that I would take responsibility for my health when the chips (no pun intended) were down. But it’s turning out to be harder than I thought to take care of myself. This needs to be a “pull off the bandaid quickly” kind of thing, not a long drawn out process. How do I make that happen?

Gracie – Can you purge your house completely and your workplace as much as possible? I’m afraid that I just don’t have anything in the house that I don’t want to eat. There are 7 whole aisles of the grocery store that I don’t even walk down any more.
I think you’re right to start with the drastic “rip the bandaid off” approach then loosen up a bit with time. I haven’t got to the “loosen up” phase yet. One day….
Sadly, I am still peeling that band-aid off as slowly as can be. I just piss myself off sometimes!
