I was a fat child,

a chubby teenager,

thin in my early 20s (dieting and love),

chubby mum,

up and down and up and down the same 30 pounds until one day I decided it needed to stop.

I also decided I needed to put my head down and write about the process. The result was a decent weight loss and a much healthier relationship with my body and with food. I also wrote over 300 blog posts.

I put the blog away for a few years but am bringing it back a bit at a time as I’ve hit a new phase of post-menopausal freedom. That includes the freedom to eat too much, drink too much and sit around too much.

For the past 8 years I’ve been up and down and up and down the same 7-10 pounds which is an improvement, but I’m still looking for that elusive 3-5 pound range.

I’m also preparing now for the healthiest possible old age if I’m blessed with such a thing.
